Well, it’s been a week since I posted the contest poll and the results are that essays and poetry tied! That put me pretty much back where I started – not really, since now I know there’s interest on both sides. I did a random drawing between the two and so… this year we will be having an essay contest!
For those of you who voted for poetry… please don’t go away. I’m sure we will do a poetry contest again!

Alright! I cannot wait to see what the essays have to be about! I have to say that I do write better then I write poems.

I am too old for the contest ( 33 ) and am a published writer …
( have a story “The Knitting Basics” coming out in Guidepost’s
Magazine in May 2009.
But I think this is wonderful… and I have put your Essay Contest
