I am pleased to announce the Maidens of Virtue Poetry Contest!
This contest is open to all girls ages 10 to 25. There are two categories:
~ Young ladies ages 10-17
Subject: Serving Your Family
Write a poem describing how you can help your family - you choose which family member(s) you wish to write about (or write about the entire family).
~ Young ladies ages 18-25
Subject: The Proverbs 31 Woman
Using your own words, write a poem describing the Proverbs 31 woman, using Proverbs 31:10-31 as your guide.
One Grand Prize and two honorable mentions will be awarded in each category. Click here for the contest Prize Page.
Poems must be received or postmarked by April 30th, 2007. Entries received after this date will be disregarded. Entries may be submitted electronically or by mail. Send entries to:

All entries must include entrant's name, age, mailing address, telephone number, email address, and title of the poem.* All entries must be the original work of the entrant. Entrants under the age of eighteen must have the permission of their parent(s) or guardian to enter the contest.
Grand Prize winners and honorable mentions will be contacted on or before May 15th, 2007. Winners and honorable mentions will be announced on MaidensOfVirtue.com and on The Girlhood Gazette.
